“The Crown Prince of San Antonio“

Tom Lamb - Neutral on Paul, Brandon Callies Band

Biography

Brandon Padier is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer hailing from San Antonio, Texas.

For Brandon, the song comes first. From his musical family lineage (Ace Williams & the Brazos Kings, Padier Family Gospel Band) to his time in a myriad of local bands (Adopted Kids, The Texases), as well as his deep love and knowledge of the great 20th century songwriters, Padier has developed a sound that is both wistfully reminiscent of years gone by, yet wholly unique - as only a Texas artist can do.

Brandon self-recorded and produced his last two albums (Rock & Roll Heart of Gold, Brothers of the Flood) at his home studio while continually and rigorously touring and playing shows all around the great state of Texas. In the midst of promoting his last record, Brothers of the Flood, Brandon hand-picked the lineup that became Brandon Padier & Black Gold. Black Gold has allowed for the songs that Padier has written to be performed in a way that develops and builds upon the album, and stretches and spins them into a jammier, more slippery and incredible danceable sound that is as much aligned with the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers as it is Dwight Yoakam and Sturgill Simpson
Black Gold is described as “Sloe & Low, Down Home Rock & Roll from San Antone” - and spans across multiple musical genres, as Brandon intended.

His latest release, “Years in the Wilderness”, is one of his most raw, poignant and absolutely awe-inspiring works to date, and his continued growth as a writer and producer shines brighter than ever.
Brandon Padier is an artist you need to keep your eyes, and ears on.
